Welcome to Ted and Jan Whitfield's website. This is primarily for friends we are still in contact with and those we may have lost contact with since our move to Malta in 2005.The site tells a little of each of our lives, how we came to move to Malta, and life in Malta. And it links to our business website - importing and selling Belgian beers.
We live in the village of Swieqi just inland from the sea and a 10 minute walk takes us either to the sandy St Georges bay - picture to the right or via Spinola Bay to the northern end of Sliema's long picturesque promenade. At the end of our road is what used to be St Andrews Barracks when the British forces were based here. At that time Swieqi was mostly fields.
