Ted like beers that have plenty of taste like traditional British Ales, Belgian Ales, Wheat Beers,or
even Guinness (or if none of these are available a high quality lager or a glass of red wine). Jan normally prefers a decent dry white wine (Delicata Victoria Heights
is the benchmark),or occasionally a decent beer
The choice of good non lager beer in Malta is limited. Each of the bars on the list has at least one
of, a bottled Belgian ale,a bottled or keg ale
with some taste, a stout, a wheat beer or failing that a lager with some taste. Location and outside tables are also an important consideration.

Exiles Paradise | offers 5 belgian beers in bottles - Duvel, Bios Kriek, Bruegel and Piraat and Stella | set on the rocks right next to the sea at the southern point of Baluttta bay. It is part of
the Exiles water polo club. It fells like it should be on a Greek Island rather than Malta. Superb views night and day. noisy traditional juke box but

Dixies Kiosk | One of Maltas best selection of Belgian beers. It sells 5 Belgian in bottles - Gulden Draak,
