MOVING TO MALTA

LIVING IN MALTA

IMPORTING BEER

This page shares with you our favorite restaurants in Malta

The RESTAURANTS are chosen for a combination their food, service, ambiance, location and the accompanying drinks. So basically we like them. They will all sell reasonably priced good local wines and some have Belgian beers. The entries are listed starting with the most southerly,so starting in Sliema andworking east along the Strand, then North along Tower Rd then to St Julians, St Andrews and finally Gozo

Note - Maltese portions tend to be large.

MaltaSliema/Tower RdLa Pappa We first visited ehay is now La Pappa back in 1993 when it wa a fish restaurant called La Finestra. it then became Mama Mia and then Mozzarella. Both these successful businessses moved on to new locations. And so it has a fourth incarnation which we like. The location overlooks Qui Si Sana promonade which is currently being refurbished. The service is good and the food (pasta, Pizza, Grills and Fish) is excellent value. Jun 2010
MaltaSliema/Tower Rd The Kitchen Long thin restaurant (once a garage?) on Tower Road seafront, close to the sea end of Dingli Street.
